en همراهی سطح کورتیزول بزاق مراحل رشد مهره های گردنی The Correlation Between Salivary Cortisol Level And Cervical Vertebral Maturation Stages ارتودنتیکس Orthodontics مقاله پژوهشي Research Paper <div style="text-align:justify">مقدمه: ناهنجاری‌ها دندانی-صورتی در کودکان در حال رشد، دلیل شایعی برای ارجاع ارتودنسی است. مطالعات، استفاده از بیومارکرها مانند کورتیزول را برای پیش‌بینی مراحل بلوغ پیشنهاد کرده‌اند. هدف  مطالعه حاضر، بررسی همبستگی بین سطح کوتیزول بزاق و مراحل بلوغ مهره‌های گردنی (CVMS) در لترال سفالومتر بود. مواد و روش: در این مطالعه مقطعی ۶۰ بیمار پسر ۸ تا ۱۸ ساله وارد مطالعه شدند که پس از تهیه بزاق غیر تحریکی در صبح و تعیین سطح و میزان کورتیزول بزاق با روش‌های آزمایشگاهی، سطح کرتیزول بزاقی با بلوغ مهره های گردن در نمای لترال سفالومتری مورد مقایسه قرار گرفت. افراد بر اساس مرحله رشد مهره‌های گردنی به چهار گروه CS-1,CS-2؛ CS-3؛ CS-4 و5 CS-، 6 CS- تقسیم شدند. داده‌های جمع آوری شده با استفاده از SPSS 18 مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفتند. P-value کمتر از 0/05 از لحاظ آماری معنی دار در نظر گرفته شد. یافته ها: نتایج نشان داد میانگین سطح کورتیزول بزاقی در گروه اول 1/34±1/37، در گروه دوم 2/01±2/29، در گروه سوم 1/86±2/62 و در گروه آخر ng/ml 2/34±4/51 بود. بین چهار گروه از نظر میانگین سطح کورتیزول بزاق اختلاف معنی‌داری مشاهده شد (P <0/001)؛ به این صورت که میانگین سطح کورتیزول در گروه چهارم از گروه اول و دوم به طور معنی‌داری بیشتر بود به ترتیب (P<0/01)  و(P=0/029) اما نسبت به گروه سوم معنی‌دار نبود. نتیجه گیری: سطح کرورتیزول بزاق با افزایش مرحله رشد مهره‌ی گردنی از CS-3 به بعد بیشتر می‌شود.  از این  می‌توان از سطح کورتیزول بزاق به عنوان شاخصی برای تعیین پیک رشدی استفاده کرد.</div> Introduction: Dentofacial abnormalities in growing children are a common reason for orthodontic referral. Studies have suggested the use of biomarkers like cortisol to predicts puberty stages. The aim of the present study was too investigate the correlation between salivary cortisol levels and Cervical Vertebrel Maturation Stages (CVMSs) on lateral cephalometry.  Methods&Material: This cross-sectional study was conducte on 60 male patients aged 8 to 18 years. After preparing unstimulated salivay in the morning and determining the level and amount of cortisol in saliva by laboratory method, the level of cortisol in saliva was compared with the maturity of cervicel vertebrae in lateral cephalometrics view. Individuals were divided into four group (CS-1, CS-2); (CS-3); (CS-4); and (CS-5, CS-6) based on the CVMS. The collected data were entered into SPSS 18 and analyzed using ANOVA with Tukey's post hoc test. A value of P<0.05 was considered statistically significants. Result: The results showed that the mean salivary cortisol level in the first, second, third, and fourth group was 1.37±1.34, 2.29±2.01, 2.62±1.86, and 4.51±2.34, respectively. The mean salivary cortisol level of the fourth group was significantly higher than that of the first and second groups (P<0.001 and P=0.029, respectively) but compared with the third group, it was not statistic significant. Conclusions: Salivary cortisol level increases with the developmente of the CVMS from CS-3.
